The U.S. Space and Rocket Center, located in Huntsville, is Alabama's top tourist attraction. The Center, which opened in 1970 as NASA's first visitor center, includes a Space Camp, museum, Aviation Challenge and X-Camp. It is also famously known as a National Historic Mechanical Engineering Landmark.

Located in the heart of downtown Huntsville, next to the Von Braun Center and the Huntsville's Art museum is the Big Spring International Park. Built around its famous name "Big Spring", the original water basis that the city of Huntsville was built around over 200 years ago! Take a long stroll through the enchanting Big Spring Park following the large pond and feed the koi fish, ducks and geese! Special events are held in the park such as; the Panoply Arts Festival, and Concerts in the Park. At Big Spring Park, you're in the middle of everything!

Located in Marshall County which is 40 minutes east of Huntsville, Cathedral Caverns is a unique place to visit! The caverns maintain a comfortable 60 degrees temperature year round; which makes a comfortable all day event along with a nice relief from those dog days of Summer! Besides the remarkable sites of the Caverns there are 493 acres of hiking trails available for those wanting to enjoy the outdoors!

Centrally located in the beautiful downtown Huntsville near hotels, shopping and restaurants, while overlooking the stunning beauty of Big Spring International Park! The Von Braun Center is the place for banquets, receptions, sporting events, concerts, shows, ballets, along with other numerous venues.
Located just east of Huntsville. Get ready for an up-close encounter with safari animals at Harmony Park Safari, which is home to many amazing animals that you don't typically find at a petting zoo to enjoy! Food for the animals is provided! Make sure you check their website for updates and details on their current and new animals.
